National Mosque Open Day is an annual Australia-wide event organised by the Lebanese Muslim Association and proudly supported by the Department of Social Services. The event features a number of mosques across the nation simultaneously opening their doors to the public and inviting them to come in and explore their local mosque.

“Tantric aspects of the world’s spiritualities.”
Tantra is considered to be a powerful means for acquiring highest bliss through the union of
opposites - male and female, life and death, heaven and earth, licit and illicit. Although the term
‘tantra’ derives from Hinduism and Buddhism, it can be seen as a golden thread running through
the many spiritualities of our world. This Conference will explore how these tantric aspects overlap,
challenge and illuminate each other.

Have you explored our new resource from Catholic Education Melbourne for working with sustainability?

Have you seen:
JCMA Friendship Walk 6th Nov

Come along on Sunday 6th November and spend an afternoon walking together in friendship and goodwill between a church, synagogue and a mosque.   Starting at  St Peters Eastern Hill Anglican Church we will walk across the road to the East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation Synagogue and then onto to the Albanian Mosque in Carlton North.   We will start with a prayer of peace and reflections and then learn about some of the history and traditions of each of the places we visit.

Archdiocesan Office for Youth: Mission Expo

A night for young people inspired by their faith to explore their call to mission in their every day lives. Meet with agencies and communities which run mission and volunteering programs across Melbourne.

6.30pm – 7.30pm Six30 Holy Hour

St Patrick’s Cathedral, 1 Cathedral Pl, East Melbourne

7.30pm – 9.30pm Mission Expo

Cardinal Knox Centre,

Free entry. Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase through the evening.
