Welcome

This enews edition is short and early to draw your attention to a few things on in early August and to the new Religion and Sports feature in the Beliefs Module, in case you would like to use it during the Olympic Games. It will eventually be part of our 'Traces of God' module devoted to looking at faith questions that arise at popular excursion spots for students in the city.

Some interestings things coming up!

'Opening the Doors' Foundation Birthday celebrations are coming up. Celebrate on August 2, 6-8.30pm at Genazzano, Cotham Rd, Kew with Betty Pike and Joan Robinson. $10. Contact 94439070 to book. 

Twilight Theology at Treacy College Parkville, 5.00-6.30 August 8. Hear Fr Paul Murray op. speak on 'Go into the Gaps': the Imperative and Privilege of the Teaching Vocation. Register through IPLS before August 3.

The Catholic School in the Contemporary World. Keynote address by Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez of Caritas Internationalis, Wednesday August 15, 9 am -2.30 pm. RSVP to justice@cam.org.au 

Gracefest Opening Mass 7pm, August 15 (Assumption Day) at the Cathedral. Schools are invited to send students and staff to this Mass which begins a four day celebration and exploration of Grace. It concludes with a workshop day at ACU featuring presenters from many walks of life. For details contact: Suzanne.hermon@cam.org.au
