Some interesting sites:

Pentecost inaugurates a Year of Grace in Australia The Australian Bishops have set up an attractive website to promote this special year and there are already some good articles online to stimulate an exploration of grace and its quiet but 'amazing' effects in our lives.

Diets and controversies over food regularly feature in the press. Eating like Ignatius is a fine article by young American Andrea Lawse on eating well. It is part of a site which expresses a Christian  view on sustainability, an increasingly significant topic in world affairs. A little article on Eggs on the same site is topical at Easter.

A site prepared by the Redemptorists has many useful resources including a series of visual meditations based on film recorded by the Hubble spacecraft as it tracked through the galaxies of our Universe.

Death Before or After Birth

There was a flurry of controversy when two young ethicists recently suggested that, perhaps, new-born children could have their lives terminated if circumstances made rearing them difficult. Is such a position so radically different from deciding to terminate a child's life before birth?

Fairness to Workers v. Fairness to Employers
Fairness to Workers v. Fairness to Employers

A subtle effect of dismissal regulation is that it penalises workers who are risky for employers, such as those returning to work after a break to rear children, those with a disability, or from particular racial groups. This article, and comments following it provokes interesting debate about ethical issues in employment.
