Some useful sites:

The Columban 2012 Lenten resource 'Stations of the Forest' provides both a liturgical reflection for the season of Lent and a reflection on the impact of human carelessness and greed on the environment.

The Blake Prize for Religious Art is well-known in Australian circles. Last year The Blake Book by Rosemary Crumlin was published. Now an Education Kit is available on line. Downloads contain a brief history of the Prize plus excellent suggestions for reflection and discussion and ideas for art projects. Highly recommened for both RE and Art teachers.

Together at One Altar, an Australian site devoted to exploring the Eucharist, is very helpful for teachers and students. Sessions to help you get the most out of the site will be held on 20th and 22nd March from 9.30 - 12.00. The first is in the Skyline Room at Flemington Racecourse, the second at Holmesglen Conference Centre, cnr Batesford and Warrigal Roads. Register through IPLS Code REJ333A or REJ333B.

The Australian Bishops have called for a Year of Grace beginning at Pentecost. The timing of this special year is related to the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council in 1962. We will have much more about the Year of Grace in RESource soon, meanwhile you can find out about Vatican II here.

During Lent this reflection may help you and your students. There is also  a Prayer for Lent and a fine set of Stations of the Cross elsewhere in the Worship Module.
